Another singer : Daniel Powter...

Daniel Powter is a Canadian singer from British Columbia. Motivated by his mother who was pianist, he began his musical training with the violon. After he decided to learn to play piano and started to compose. The success started when one of his songs was reused for an advertisement for a white and red soda. His first album, named Daniel Powter, released in Febuary 2005. The first single released was "Bad Day" and was at the top of the most singles bought.

James Blunt (born James Hillier Blount, 22 February 1974) is a British musician whose debut album, Back To Bedlam, and single releases — especially the number one hit "You're Beautiful" — brought him to fame in 2005. His style is a mix of rock, northern soul and folk rock. Along with vocals, Blunt plays a wide variety of instruments including the piano, guitar, organ, marimba, and mellotron.

He is signed to Linda Perry's American label Custard, and became the first British artist to top the American singles chart in nearly a decade when his song "You're Beautiful" reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006.(sources)
